Moi-Peau

This video performance piece was screened as part of a  trilogy during the exhibition Moi-Femme… Moi-Peau in 2014. These videos were shot in 2013 in New York; a city whose identity, is both distinctive and at the same time ghostly. The city has a particular energy which led me to go further into the theme of Moi-Femme… Moi-Peau in 2014 and Moi-Ghost in 2016.

The videos reveal different aspects of an identity often hidden under a veil of conformity. Inspired by the vital energy found in the trinity, these videos show our three internal realities: the public, private and spiritual that shape our perception of the external world and which in turn is conditioned by these.
