sexy plexy kai plastiki

In the exhibition Sexy Plexy kai Plastiki, the focus is made on the framing as an integral part of the art piece; Plastic, coming from the greek πλάττειν means shape. Isabelle uses the plexi material in a dual role: to endow the piece with nobility, and even if very glamorous, yet still be part of the polluting consummation.

While personifying these two aspects, the exhibition more over refers to the different shapes of the duality in each human life.

With everyone point of view and beliefs, how much can we be “framed”, and in which box are we being put by others, and for the most part by ourselves?
